question 3
what did you learn from audience feedback?
To display what we have learned from our audience feedback, we looked at the feedback we have already received during the improvements of our project and also used a variety of methods to gain new feedback about our completed trailer, magazine and movie poster.
We asked two of our targeted audience to complete a questionnaire and see their reaction of our trailer, movie and magazine poster.
Do you like the Movie/Magazine poster
What do you like/dislike about the poster
What do you think of our movie poster?
What do you think of our magazine cover?

Audience reactions
We wanted to quote some of the reviews from our audience with about our trailer and then work out what we could improve from them.
'Cool Music, Starts Happy, Fast Paced, Flashy, Intense'- Amy Armitage, a friend who has no media experience.
We took this comment as a positive, as she pointed out what we wanted our audience to see in which at the beginning everything seems happy and daisy, then alter a tragic scene the suspenseful and eerie music kicks in. She didn't leave a comment discussing how we could improve the trailer, however she did highlight what we wanted our audience to see and engage with.
'You can see the string when it was not meant to be seen'- Gemma Tanner a friend who has some experience with media.
She is correct in her comment, as you do see the string; which lots of our other audience's reactions also say the same thing about this particular scene. We were working hard to ensure the string wasn't too visible, however it's obvious the techniques didn't work. So we are currently working on trying to improve this scene.
'Good sound like murder but no there wasn't a storyline'- Ellliese Stone a Year 12 student
After looking at this comment, our group thought that our trailer would be explanatory being that Rebecca and Melinda are best friends that are sharing happy memories; Melinda dies in a car accident and Rebecca gets cursed upon for trying to contact Melinda. However, we still did want Elliese along with the other audiences to walk away having different questions being "Why did Rebecca want to contact Melinda", "Why did Melinda have to haunt the house" etc.

in conclusion
Subsequently, we thought that our audience feedback was helpful to us when attempting to create decisions about our trailer, magazine and poster during the project as it showed us what type of elements people are looking for and intrigued by. We all agreed that creating something the audience would be happy to see is the most essential part if were hoping to profit from our project and make something that is going to become successful.
The feedback also displayed what we required to work on harder in the future and what we could alter which was useful. Some of the touches if we had more time, we could've made a bigger advertising campaign, furthermore could have produced another trailer with dialogue and better skills at concealing things in the background.
